Happy New Year Guys and Gals, it’s time to saddle up your Zuca Carts and grab ya partner and welcome the new year in style at the 2020 Rookie Rodeo.
This new social event will see teams of two, consisting of a Sheriff (experienced player) and a Deputy (new player, cannot have played a disc golf tournament or League Day before) shooting it out at over 18 holes at the Chichester Park disc golf course in Woodvale on Sunday the 12th of January.
So round up your posse, git ya registration in and sneek in a bit of practice and we will see ya all there.

Three Divisions: Ladies, Mixed and Mens
Costs:
Sheriffs: $30.00
Deputies: $25.00
Note – Discounts apply for PDGC members and prepayment
There is a $5.00 Discount on the above for PDGC members, and a further $5.00 discount for prepayment via bank transfer before the event. So if the Sheriff is a PDGC member for 2019/20 and prepays, they will pay $20.00, and if the Deputy prepays but is not a member they will pay $20.00 as well.
Water will be provided but no food will be supplied or available, presentations after the event will be held at the nearby Woodvale Tavern.
There will be prizes of 6 x $50 Sportspower Kingsway vouchers to be won by the winners of each division.

Format
Teams will play 1 x 18 hole round, then there will be a quick break for score checks and then a 9 hole final (TD’s choice, will be announced on the morning of the tourney) for the top two teams in each division.
The playing format will be best drive, then the alternate player takes next throw and on and on until the team holes out. However, you can only take the same persons drive for two consecutive holes, then the other players drive must be taken. Eg Hole 1 Both players drive, Sheriffs drive is taken. Deputy putts in. Hole 2 both players drive, Sheriff’s drive is taken again. Deputy approaches, Sheriff holes out. Hole 3, Deputy’s drive MUST be taken.
