Kim Holmes Trophy

The Kim Holmes trophy is a unique event on the disc golf calendar which is a competition between the two WA based clubs; Perth Disc Golf Club & Mundaring Disc Golf. Points accumulated by the end of the rounds will decide the eventual winner.
Players must be a paying member of at least one of these clubs to register.
Event plan
Location: Cockman park – Rob Hancock Memorial disc golf park
When: Sunday, 30 September 2018
Sign in: 8.00am
Round 1: 9am – 9 holes play off
All players play nine holes to select the top 16 players from each club. The top 16 scores from each team are totalled and the team with the lowest total score receives 8 points. 4 points each if the scores are tied.
Round 2: 10:30am – 11:30am – 9 holes doubles
The top 16 players from each club will be paired into doubles teams based on their scores from round one. Number one from each club is the top scorer and number eight is the lowest score for their club from the first round.

It will be alternate doubles format; where teams will take alternate shots. If your teammate played the last shot, you must then take the next shot from their lie. Which ever team member putts out the other team member is to tee off the next hole.
Teams will receive
- 3 points for a win
- 1.5 points for a draw
- 0 points for a loss
Lunch: 12.00pm – 1.15pm

Round 3: 1.30pm – 2.30pm 9 holes match play
This is a final 9 where clubs go head to head with the objective of winning the most holes against your direct opponent, not the total score.
Based on your rank from the first round, players will be matched from 1 to 16 and play against the other clubs same ranked player. For example PDGC number 1 will play Mundaring number 1.
Points
- 3 points for a win
- 1.5 points for a draw
- 0 points for a loss
After round 3 the points accumulated from the 2nd and 3rd round will be calculated to decide the overall winning club.
