Rob Hancock Memorial 2022
Cockman Park, Rob Hancock Memorial Disc Golf Course
April 10, 2022
Let's celebrate one of the pioneers of disc sports in WA, Mr. Rob Hancock with a 2 round of 20 holes at Rob Hancock Memorial Disc Golf Course.
Welcome to one of the most significant events on the PDGC Calendar. On this day each year, our community gathers to participate in memory of one of the pioneers of disc sports in WA, Mr. Rob Hancock.
Many of the veteran members of our club may tell you how this man touched their lives and bought them into the world of disc sports. There are many stories about Rob, but one memory was Rob driving long distances out into country WA to pick up a van load of kids and bringing them to Perth for a weekend of fun and learning about the different disc sports. This day is also a celebration of the spirit and passion Rob had for our sport and the legacy he left for us all.
The Rob Hancock Memorial this year will consist of two twenty-hole rounds for all competitors, plus a five hole final for the top four Masters-aged (40+) competitors across all divisions after the two rounds.
